Maine Visuals

A wandering archive of trails, light, and quiet places.

🌲 Overview

Maine has been my slow teacher.

Most of these photos and sketches come from long, quiet walks where I was exploring the terrain, noticing small things, and enjoying the restorative effects of nature.

This page is a soft archive: part travel diary, part creative practice, part “I’m so glad I visited these places” memory‑keeper.

It’s where I collect the landscapes, textures, and little mythic flickers that stay with me long after the hike ends.

If you found this page through Postcrossing or a creative exchange: hello!

I hope these glimpses of Maine bring you a bit of calm or curiosity.

🏞️ Photography

The Majestic Coastline

Quoddy Head State Park, Lubec

Rocky shorelines, tidal pools, dramatic cliffs.

I love photographing the expansiveness of the ocean.

Forest & Trail

Moosehorn Wildlife Refuge, Winter 2026

Maine’s woods have a way of engaging your nervous system.

These photos are from hikes where I learned navigation, resilience, and the art of slowing down.

And how to dress warmly if it was a wintry day…

Lakes & Still Water

Mirror‑smooth surfaces, sometimes cloudless days, and the kind of silence that feels like a spell.

🎨 Sketchbook

I recently started sketching Maine buildings and landscapes as a grounding ritual. I’ve always enjoyed art as a form of therapy or mental relaxation.

Ink + Wash of Hamilton Cove (Lubec)

Some sketches are from my own photos, while others are inspired by online or offline scenes that caught my eye.

🌿 Why This Project Exists

This page is the creative counterpart to my more structured, BI‑framed portfolio.

Where that one focuses on skills and clarity, this one focuses on:

  • wonder
  • presence
  • somatic memory
  • the joy of wandering
  • the quiet magic of Maine

It’s the same project, just told in a different language.

📬 Say Hello

If you’re here from Postcrossing or a creative exchange, feel free to reach out or share your own landscapes.

I love seeing the places other people wander, explore, or live in.
