Script Notes
Hello everyone,
I’ve made a bit of a progress on a couple of vacation related blog posts. I decided to split them up into at least two separate posts so that it’s laid out in a more organized manner.
I think the post on my personal blog is going to end up with more photographs because the other one, which I’m going to post on Dragonsinn.net, has naturally a little bit more emphasis on a few dragon items that I saw while traveling.
Another shorter post that I thought of publishing was about three used books that I recently bought and they’re all history related.
They’re titled (scroll all the way down to view the book covers):
- “A Pocket Guide to Irish Castles” by Fiona Biggs
- “Scotland’s History” by Fiona Watson (coincidentally, it was another author with the name of Fiona)
- “Castles of Scotland, Past and Present” by Christine Gambaro
In the past, I don’t think I’ve mentioned before that I’ve really liked medieval history and castles. I did have an occasional goal or dream to do a medieval castle tour. I might still do that in a few years’ time.
On this recent trip, I got to see three castles and one was a castle ruin.
When I was younger, I played quite a lot of Tomb Raider (!!), and I’d say that Lara Croft is my favorite video game character. If I could have her life, I would have absolutely no complaints about it.
I guess visiting places like castle ruins really satisfies the exploratory feel that I have when it comes to travel.
It’s getting a bit late over here, so I’m getting a bit tired. But I will share more photos in a little bit. I just have to get some work with stuff out of the way first. So I’ll update here very soon!
